This is a jazzy background picture, but it takes more than 2 minutes (at 28.8) to load it.  No one would wait that long, regardless of how cool it is!  Also, as you can see, with the color combinations in the background, there could be some problem with the font colors.  As it gets into the yellow, it becomes harder to read. You would have to choose a color that was not in the background image, and that might might not look good either!

If you experimented with different colors, you might find something that would work in both the light and the dark sections.
