What is White Space?

White space is the space around pictures, text, table data, and other parts of your web page that make it easy to read.  It is not necessarily "white"!  It is simply the "empty spaces" on your web page, such as the space between paragraphs, or the margins to the left and right of your text.  Here are two examples, the one on the right is without any white space at all, and one on the left makes good use of white space:

A good web page makes good use of white space.  This is my job as webmaster.  I will break your content materials into easy-to-read blocks if I feel white space is needed.
