I will get your domain name (your own "dot-com") for you (if it's not already in use) and register it in your name.  You do not need your own dot-com to have a web page.  However, if you do decide to get your own dot-com, there is a domain registration fee of  $15-$35/year, and a possible one-time set up fee (MHTC.net charges $20 to set up a domain name on its server.)  These are billed separately by your server.  Your monthly Internet access charge will be higher as well, depending on your server and the usage service account you have with them.  Check with your ISP for their fees.

I will arrange hosting for your new web site on MHTC.net, or a server of your choice.

Your new web site will provide basic information about you or your business,  serving as an "online brochure" for existing or potential clients.  The site's "look and feel" will be simple, conservative and professional, with an emphasis upon very easy usability and speed in loading.

All pages will display your company logo and contact information in an attractive header.  Navigation links or buttons will be included in footers or margins to provide easy access to other pages.  I design most of my own graphics, so your page will be "one of a kind"!  I will also include a FAVICON!  (A favicon is a small icon that shows up in the address bar of Internet Explorer, and when someone bookmarks your site, it appears in the list of Favorites next to your site name.)

I will include Keywords and other code designed to make the site more findable by search engines, and your site's URL will be submitted to the major search engines, but no other assurances can be made concerning "placement" by search engines.

I will maintain the confidentiality of your source materials, technical and marketing plans, passwords, and all other sensitive information.

How much does a web site cost?  According to Dr. Ralph F. Wilson, author of Web Marketing Today, " Expect to pay $750 to $1500 for a simple 4 to 6 page web site.  For a more complex site you may pay $3,000 to $10,000 and up."   However, MY RATES are considerably more reasonable!  Your web site can consist of up to 10 pages and allows for 3 graphics/pictures per page for the base rate of $400.  (Additional pages are available at an additional cost per page.)  Single page sites will be considered for price adjustment.
